As an only child from the Netherlands, Stan knew from an early age that he’d be paving his own unique creative path. An eternal creative, Stan was drawing early, and fell in love with video during the rise of YouTube, creating his own content riddled with elaborate special effects. During his teen years, Stan knew school and the corporate world wasn’t for him — he had his sights set on the tall palm trees and vast opportunities of Los Angeles. Dropping out of high school led the ambitious teen to pursue a specialty program in video and photography, despite spending much of the program researching international courses that would allow him to access Los Angeles. Strong-will and determination found Stan in LA just a few months later. And it was during his stay in Cali that he rubbed elbows with the Team 10 crew. He soon began photographing the squad, and posting the photos on social media, to a supportive & quickly growing following. Stan is meticulous and precise — he has his own unique visual style, which he carefully crafts in post, editing his images to take on an ethereal golden hue that he deems “the typical LA vibe” — setting his images visually and stylistically apart from the rest. He is literally the Yoda of photo editing, OK, figuratively. And standing 19 years tall, Stan has consciously led himself down a path he himself paved, something most of his peers back home look up to with aspiration.
